I met up with a couple of long time friends and none of us had been here before. Thankfully it is like 200 yards from my office because I plan on walking over at least once a week after the great experience I had. I tried the chicken and sticky rice along with an appetizer of shrimp spring rolls. All of it was delicious. The chicken consisted of two small drumsticks and two thighs. Plenty of food. So much so that I only had one of the spring rolls and enjoyed the other two for dinner. Canned Coke Zero for only $1.09 is a great price at a restaurant. The ambiance is a little lacking with old booths and mismatched tables and it needed some cleaning of tables between diners but at least the booth we had was comfortable. My ONLY issue with AC Deli is that like McDonald's they use a stupid kiosk to place orders. Research has shown those are disgustingly filthy and I shudder when I have to use one then instantly look for hand sanitizer. Still their kiosk is well organized and super user friendly.

Very busy location! Overall pretty good food. The pork spring rolls were delicious, but the shrimp spring rolls were not very good; the shrimp did not taste fresh and there was little noodle and too much lettuce, not the same ratio as the pork spring roll. Papaya salad was good texture and spice level, but the seasoning was not very balanced and lacked a good acid to balance the fish sauce. Still very good overall, but not my favorite in Fresno so far. The staff is friendly, there is lots of seating, but their to go packaging is also very good. Simple layout, would like to come back to try the tea and smoothies.

A coworker of mine brought a chicken and rice platter from here to work for everyone to try, and I was hooked instantly. The plate came with perfectly fried chicken, a neatly wrapped package of sticky rice, and a small serving of chili paste on the side. The flavors were absolutely amazing--the chicken was crispy and flavorful, the sticky rice had just the right texture and stickiness, and the chili paste added a nice, satisfying kick that tied everything together. After that first experience, I knew I had to come back. On my next visit, I decided to try the spring rolls in addition to the chicken and rice. I was pleasantly surprised by how generously sized the spring rolls were--longer than what most places serve--and the price was pretty reasonable, too. While I personally prefer a thick peanut sauce, the sauce they provided was a bit watery for my liking, though it still tasted good and complemented the spring rolls well. Overall, this place has quickly become a favorite of mine. The flavors, quality, and portion sizes make it well worth returning for, and I'll definitely keep coming back for more! If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend giving it a shot.

This is usually my go to place for the chicken & sticky rice grab and go. My son really likes the spicy dip that comes with it. Recently tho I noticed when I ordered it came out different packaging. And the chicken seemed a little more drier than usual. Maybe I came on a bad day, idk but usually their chicken hit. I always come to get their kao piak here tho since it's decent and nearby.. service is always good. I used to get the tapioca balls but they put it in the fridge now and I like it better room temp. The steamed catfish used to be really good but taste somewhat different then when they used to be on first and olive.. it's okay.. the bamboo thing in the fridge used to hit too on first and olive and now it tastes just a tad bit different. Different location different recipe ig? Jk. Idk. The place makes me feel like it's big for nothing cus it is super super spacious in there. They even have a back side patio and upstairs which I'm not sure if they allow people upstairs. I know this cus this place used to be a bar called Swigs!! The service is good tho, nice friendly vibes. I still b messin with this place even tho some of the stuff I get taste a little diff then first n olive.. its only when I crave Laos food.
